Our main purpose is to create a network adults active in empowering and supporting women’s personal, professional and business autonomy, as well as raising public awareness of these issues.
The strategic partners of the network are working on the exchange of methodological tools that they have developled in terms of women’s empowerment, exchange of non-formal learning approaches in terms of theories and techniques.
Women are dynamic partners for promoting coherence, integration and innovation in sustainable development (UN Women, 2012).
Our mission is to bring together adult trainers, grass-root women, experts and other stakeholders working on the empowerment of women, so as to enrich their methodological tools and maximise their results
Specific tasks of NEFELI are:
- Provision of training
- Review and enhancement of the literature on the role that non-formal learning could have in supporting and empowering women
- Multiplier actions to raise public awareness of the deficiencies and needs identified
